I am a licensed senior loan officer and mortgage broker with thirteen years experience in Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Conforming, Non-conforming, High Balance, Jumbo, Non-QM, DSCR and Hard Money home loans for refinances, purchases of primary and rental/investment properties.
As an independent mortgage broker, I am not the employee of any bank or lender. I can place your loan with a range of lenders, choosing the one lender best suited for the loan you need. Almost all lenders and banks require their employee loan officers to make and close loans "in-house" using that bank's rate sheet and that bank's underwriting guidelines rather than directing you, the borrower, to a competing lender even if another lender has a better rate and/or underwriting process. Having worked the first 7 of my 13 years doing "in-house" loans with banks and private mortgage companies, I am quite familiar with both worlds.

Finally, unless it is a hard money loan, you will never pay me a dime before or after closing for getting your loan done; the lender pays my brokerage directly after your loan closes and only if the loan closes. Therefore, for any loan I broker, I have all my 'skin in the game' from the first minute until you get the house keys.
